In Hispanic language (Chile), my name, if I use it completely, is Hotib Rosih de/y Muhsin. And in Ghananian naming tradition my name is Kweku Piese since I am the first child in my family and I was born on Wednesday.

Likewise, in Russian language I will have a name as Hotib Rosihyevich Muhsin. It means that Hotib is my first name and Rosihyevich shows that I'm the son of Mr. Rosih. Quite unique isn't it..?

You know Kofi Annan, the former Secretary General of the United Nations? Since he is from Ghana his first name Kofi suggests he was born on Friday and Anan means he is the fourth child. Check out the list below for Ghanaian names.

In Hispanic tradition two surnames are usually connected by de or y. So if, for instance, your name is Ade and your dad's surename is firman while your mom's name is Gani. Your complete name in Hispanic language is Ade Firman de Gani or Ade Firman y Gani.

If you are a female whose name is, for example, Rani, your middle name is Rojak and your surname is Samsuri. Then your full name, in Russian naming tradition, will be Rani Rojakyavna Samsuri. Rojakyavna shows that you are the daughter of Mr. Rojak.

Fun With English Program

Today is really a good day for E-Plus students. The moving class went very well. We had 2 guest stars from Finland. They are Ms. Kaisa and Mr. Mikko Monto.

The students actively took part in the following activities during the moving class program.

- group discussion
Since there are 2 guest stars. We decided to make 2 groups. Each group has a star. In this group discussion student have a free chance to talk to the bule about anything such as his/her hobbies, favorite color, favorite food, favorite singer both Indonesian and internation singers. The students also had a chance play game together. They also should introduce themselves to the star.

- games for everybody
There several games played for every one such as backspelling, making group according to the number mentioned by the bule, number games, ect.

- students performance
In this occasion students from E-Plus also show their skill off. Some of them show their ability in poetry reading and story telling.

Overall the fun with english program (moving class) this was successful. About 40 students from neighboring schools are participated in this favorite and unique program.

E-Plus has put a high commitment that this kind of program should be continued in the future as this is a good means for the student to have a chance to practice their English skill directly with native speakers.

Let's hope for the best.

Promotion Test of Term 1/2010

It goes without saying that the terms 1/2010 will soon be completed. All the students will then have a promotion tests (oral and written) at the end of July 2010. However, prior to the test day, all E-Plus students will have 2 weeks holidays (starting 28 June - 11 July 2010) in response to a school holiday at the same time.

Oops! Time flies very fast! the term II/2009 will soon be completed. From 18 - 30 January 2010 E-Plus both in Lido and Cicurug will have a promotion test for all E-Plus students in both areas.

It is scheduled that the progress report of term II/2009 will be handed over to parents on 30 January this year.

Without holding any long...the session of term I/2010 will begin on the 1st of February 2010. As scheduled this term will be completed in 6 six months.

Starting December last year, E-Plus Lido now also conducts conversation class for adults/young adults who wants to study English in a relax and coversation oriented situation. The class is conducted only once a week i.e every Saturday from 14.30 - 16.50 p.m. Why don't you join this cool class!

Moving Class: Laugh, Fun and Learn!

On last Sunday, 8th November 2009. E-plus managed to organize its 7th moving class program. As usual the moving class program is always special because the students not only can have fun while practicing their English (speaking) but the most interesting is that they meet 'bules' or native speakers from English speaking countries.

This time our special guest stars are from Finland: Ms. Heidi and Mr. Samuli and from Denmark: Ms. Maj-Britt and Ms. Catharina.
